The JimiLab VL505 is an ultra-compact 4G LTE OBD II GPS tracker — just 45 × 30 × 22.5 mm and 26 g. It connects directly to the vehicle's OBD II port with no tools or wiring, draws power from the vehicle (9–36 V, so it suits cars, utes, vans and light trucks) and starts reporting straight away. Rolling it out across a whole fleet takes minutes, not days — and there's no installer to pay.

Multi-source positioning (GPS + BDS + A-GPS + LBS) gives accuracy better than 2.5 m, while LTE Cat 1 with automatic GSM fallback keeps it connected. Built-in motion sensors score driver behaviour and flag harsh braking, rapid acceleration, sharp turns and collisions, and a built-in microphone allows remote voice monitoring.

A standard OBD tracker sits in plain view under the dash, where drivers or thieves can see and unplug it. With our 2-way OBD II Y-splitter cable, the VL505 is secured behind the dashboard, out of sight, while the diagnostic socket stays exactly where it was.

1. Connect the splitter to the vehicle's original OBD II port.
2. Keep the diagnostic socket accessible – mechanics and scan tools plug in as normal.
3. Secure the VL505 behind the dashboard – no visible sign of a tracker, harder to tamper with, better theft recovery.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions

Will it fit my vehicles? The VL505 works with any vehicle with a standard 16-pin OBD II port and a 9–36 V system — most cars, utes, vans and light trucks built since the early 2000s.

Do I need a technician? No. Plug the tracker into the OBD II port (usually under the dashboard on the driver's side). For a hidden install, use the Y-splitter and tuck the tracker behind the dash trim.
